Dr Lucy Ge is the principal dentist at Joondanna Family Dental. The focus of our Joondanna clinic is to provide you with a beautiful and healthy smile.

Dr Lucy Ge, our founder and principal dentist, graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. She then achieved her Masters in Dental Implant Surgery in 2017 at Loma Linda University in the U.S.

Dr Lucy is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a licensed dentist with the Dental Board of Australia. She has attended a variety of local and international education conferences, with a particular focus on cosmetic dentistry and surgery. In addition, Dr Lucy is devoted to staying current with the latest dental advances and technology as well as expanding her education.

Dr Lucy is also fluent in Mandarin and Chinese.

Sedation & relaxation options

You have your dental appointment coming up. Are you feeling a little nervous? Perhaps the thought of the noise or your past experiences are causing you stress? Don’t worry; you can take comfort in knowing that at Joondanna Family Dental, we offer relaxation and sedation options to ensure you feel at ease. These options include nitrous oxide, also known as ‘happy gas’ in the form of inhalation sedation, oral sedation, and IV sedation (via an external anaesthetist). If you think you may need any of these options, please do not hesitate to let us know at booking. Our friendly team is here to make your experience comfortable.
